Google User Data and Google Calendar

Inspection Authority Software allows a user to connect a Google account to provide optional calendar import and synchronization. We access Google user data only after the user initiates the connection and grants permission through Google's OAuth consent screen. Calendar access occurs when an authorized user selects the Scan Calendar feature; Inspection Authority Software does not scan personal calendars or access Google Calendar before authorization.

Google data we access

How we use and store Google data

Google Calendar data is used only to provide user-facing calendar features requested by an authorized user: selecting and manually scanning a company calendar, identifying inspection appointments, importing those appointments into Inspection Authority Software, and reconciling subsequent time changes or deletions. The connected email address is used only to identify the connected account and support the integration.

Event details may be stored temporarily as a pending import for authorized review. When an event is accepted or confidently identified as an inspection appointment, its relevant details become part of the organization's inspection and business records. We do not access or store Google Calendar event attendees through this integration.

Sharing, advertising, prohibited uses, and artificial intelligence

We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to data brokers or information resellers. We do not use or transfer Google user data for targeted, personalized, retargeted, interest-based, or general advertising; creditworthiness or lending decisions; creation of unrelated databases; or any other purpose unrelated to providing or improving the user-facing calendar functionality described above. We do not allow humans to read Google user data except when the user gives specific permission for support or security purposes, when necessary to investigate abuse, or when required by law. Google Calendar data is not used to train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Google Workspace APIs and data obtained through Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

We disclose Google user data only to infrastructure providers acting on our behalf when necessary to operate and secure the Service, to authorized members of the user's Inspection Authority Software organization as directed by the user, or when required by law. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, resale, credit, lending, database creation, or AI/ML training. Service providers are contractually limited to using the data only to provide services to us and must protect it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Retention, deletion, and revoking access

We retain the connected-account email, selected-calendar identifiers, synchronization settings, and encrypted OAuth tokens only while the integration remains connected. Pending imported event details and appointment information that has become part of an inspection may remain as organization business records until an authorized user deletes them or requests deletion under the retention terms described above.

Users can disconnect Google Calendar from Inspection Authority Software's calendar settings. Disconnecting immediately removes the stored OAuth credentials, connected-account email, selected-calendar identifiers, and synchronization settings from the active connection and stops all future Calendar access and synchronization. Disconnecting does not automatically delete inspection appointments or other business records that were previously imported, because those records may be required by the organization that created them.

Users can also revoke access from their Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete pending Google-derived event data or previously imported records, an authorized user may delete available records in the Service, use the in-app account-deletion controls, or email support@iasoftwareapps.com. Verified deletion requests are completed in active systems without undue delay and within 30 days, subject to the legal and organization-owned business-record exceptions described above. Residual encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before being overwritten or deleted through the normal backup cycle.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Inspection Authority Software's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
